考文垂大学奖学金介绍

　　考文垂大学的建校历史可以追溯到1843年创立的考文垂设计学院。1970年，考文垂艺术与设计学院和兰彻斯特技术学院、拉格比工程技术学院合并，成立了考文垂理工学院。1992年6月更名为考文垂大学。这标志着学校新纪元的开始，在接下来的十年中，学校经历了一系列的变化。现在考文垂大学不仅在当地、全英国，而且国际上都建立了自己的学术地位，并且致力于为所有学生提供良好的学习环境，生活费用较为低廉。大学与当地各大院校如华威等有交互合作课程，并与德国、法国、希腊、新加坡、台湾及日本等国家的多所高等院校有设有教育合作项目。

　　Coventry University understands that studying overseas is a major financial decision for prospective students, which is why we have a range of discounts and scholarships for our students once they start their studies with us.

　　We offer students the following discounts:

　　￡500 full payment discount if their tuition fees are paid in full bore or at enrolment.

　　Early payment discounts for students who pay their 33% deposit by a specified deadline. Our next early payment deadline for January 2012 start is 4 November for a ￡750 discount and 2 December for a ￡500 discount.

　　The following scholarships are also offered by Coventry University:

　　Undergraduate merit scholarship scheme - ￡1000 undergraduate merit scholarship scheme available to all international students applying for year 1of a full-time programme.

　　Country merit scholarships - top up course and postgraduate programme scholarships of ￡1,500 to a limited number of students from different countries on a merit basis. Dependent upon applicants paying a deposit of 33% of their tuition fees.
