Allan:My first question for you is, what do you call it when you go and sleep in tents out-doors?

Paul:We call that camping. When we go sleep in the forest or in the mountains without tents, we call that sleeping under the stars. Some people have large trucks that have all the comforts of home in them, and we call those RVs.
我们叫宿营。但如果我们去森林里或去山中，不带帐篷的话，叫露宿。有的人有一种大卡车，可以像家一样舒适，我们叫它旅游房车。
Allan:Ok, what do you guys normally eat when you go camping?
你们出去宿营时都带什么吃的？
Paul:Most of the time, we eat simple food like hotdogs and hamburgers. We also like to roast marshmallows over the fire.
一般我们都吃热狗或汉堡，我们也会在火上烤一种叫果味软糖的东西。
Allan:Where do you usually go camping, Paul?
你通常都去哪儿宿营？
Paul:I usually go where there are no other people and set up camp there. It is quite popular to go to lakes and rivers and camp beside them. This is so that people can fish and ride on boats.
我会去那些没人的地方支帐篷，通常都是在湖边或是河边，这样可以钓鱼或是划船。
Allan:What are some activities you like to do when you go camping?
那野营时你都喜欢做些什么呢？
Paul:People like to climb mountains and go fishing; other people go hunting for deer. Some people just like to read books by a river... it is very relaxing.
有的人喜欢爬山、钓鱼，有的人喜欢猎鹿。但有些人只喜欢在河边读书……非常棒的放松方式。

[1]camping是宿营的意思，老外们很喜欢这项活动。忙了一周后，回到大自然当中，多惬意的一件事啊！
[2]RV相当于汉语中的房车。RV是Recreation Ve－hicle，recreation是休养、娱乐的意思，vehicle是交通工具。
[3]set up camp表示搭起帐篷，那么收起帐篷叫pack up camp。
