Columbia International College is the largest private boarding high school / university preparatory school in Canada with an enrollment of 1300 students from over 60 countries. Since 1979, under our unique Total Care Education System we have been preparing international students to be responsible global citizens and achieve their goal of gaining admission into top universities in Canada and worldwide. State-of-the-art Facilities
- Well-equipped Chemistry, Physics and Biology labs promote hands-on learning through experiments.
- Modern language labs offer ESL students an excellent place to practice English skills.
- Open computer lab for students use during and after school.

Academic Support Program (ASP)
- Teachers identify students who require academic support within the first 2 weeks of classes. ASP is offered during school hours, after-school and in the residences in the evening. It is provided by:

Caring Guidance Counsellors

- Our 3 full-time experienced University Placement Officers, provide information about universities to students, counsel them on university selection and assist students with applying to universities worldwide.

- Columbia cafeterias and Sodexo Food Services are certified by the Government of Ontario Eat Smart! School Program. This ensures that our students receive balanced and nutritious meals with healthy choices.
- Choice of Eastern and Western cuisine during mealtimes
- Choice of Eastern and Western hot entr during mealtimes. During lunch, additional choices of freshly prepared pizza, sushi and sandwiches are available.
- Students are served up to 4 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and night snack)
- Special Meals menu is designed by a qualified dietician on staff

Bark Lake utdoor Leadership Training
- Columbia Bark Lake Leadership Training Centre occupies 700 acres and provides field training in leadership and outdoor education. Students learn to be confident and gain essential life and leadership skills. Bark Lake provides year ound facilities:
  - 700 acres of pristine wilderness
  - Year-round cabins sleep 124 persons
  - Seasonal cabins sleep 204 persons
  - Fresh and delicious meals prepared and served in a well-equipped cafeteria
  - Indoor and outdoor meeting areas for group training
  - Certified high ropes course
Varied Co-curricular Activities Develop Leadership Skills
- Columbia leadership programs teach students goal-setting, decision-making, communication skills and many more.
- Columbia Bark Lake Leadership Training Center occupies 700 acres and provides field training in leadership and outdoor education. Students learn to be confident and gain essential life and leadership skills. Bark Lake provides year ound facilities:

  - Year-round cabins sleep 124 persons

Our unique Routine for Success (RFS) program The program is age-appropriate and is tailored to the academic, social, emotional and physical needs of the student. RFS instils discipline and consistency in our students daily activity, enabling them to have healthy social and emotional lifestyles.

Modern Networks Allow for Maximum Communication
- Students have internet access at both school and in the residence to enable them to keep in contact with family and friends.
