2012年6月8日，SAT考试报名官方网站CollegeBoard公布了2012年-2013年度的SAT考试报名时间。国际考生依然可以报名6次SAT考试，并且可以从现在开始就准备注册了，但是从下半年的SAT考试报名开始，考生需要提交照片了。

2012年SAT考试费用：SAT基本费用50美元，国际考生Additional Fee 31美元，共计81美元;
SAT2基本费用54美元，每科加12美元，带听力的语言科目每科加23美元，所以不考听力，两科78美元，三科90美元。
