SSAT考试网申报名流程.

　　美国私立中学需要申请者提供SSAT考试成绩作为依据，目前申请接近程序化，报名缴费等等都是在SSAT网站上操作的。最后再由SSAT送往各个学校。下面就随澳际小编一起看一下关于美国SSAT考试申请的详细流程介绍。

　　大家一般知道的申请高中程序是到学校索取或网站上下载该校的申请表格，按要求填好寄出。由于各个学校的表格不同，老师推荐信的数量和表格也不一样，都要一个个去准备，如果申请几个学校，积累下来的工作量比较大也比较繁琐。

　　如果你注册了美国SSAT考试，那么用你收到确认信上的login ID 进入到SSAT网站里，就能找到标准申请的信息。 标准申请有以下五个部分：

　　The standard Admission Application includes:

　　·Student Information Form (学生信息表)

　　·Student Questionnaire(学生问答)

　　·Parent Statement(家长陈述)

　　·Teacher Recommendation Forms (English, Math, School Head/Counselor) (老师推荐信，数学，英文 和学校升学顾问各一封)

　　·Academic Record. (成绩单)

　　其中Student Questionnaire学生问答里有五个问题：

　　1. List and describe your level of interest and participation in school activities (school, volunteer groups, athletics, music, etc.)。 List any awards or honors you received in the past two years.In which activities do you plan to participate in the future?

　　列出和描述你对学校活动(上课，义工组，体育，音乐等)的兴趣和参与程度

　　2. List and describe your level of interest and participation in hobbies, activities, and groups not associated with school. List any awards or honors you received in the past two years.

　　3. What reading have you enjoyed most in the past year and why?

　　5. Please choose one of these statements and then write a 250-500 word response to it.

　　5a. Describe a person you admire or who has influenced you a great deal.

　　Parent Statement家长陈述里有四个问题：

　　1.What qualities of character and mind in your daughter or son most delight you?

　　2.What do you believe your son or daughter will contribute the school community? Have you any concerns about your child’s readiness for independent school?

　　3.What has posed the biggest academic and/or extracurricular challenge for your child?

　　4.Is there anything about the sequence of your child’s schooling that we should know? Did your son or daughter ever skip or repeat a year? Was your son or daughter ever asked to withdraw from a school, suspended or put on probation? Please explain.

　　另外还会有一栏学校额外的要求，比如特殊的问题。

　　标准申请收费统一标准：美国学生$50,国际学生$100.

　　你看，申请学校一下子就变得这么简单了。

　　目前美国私立学校无论是走读还是寄宿，绝大部分都接受这个标准申请，但也有一些特别是顶尖级学校不接受。

　　问题：对于中国学生最大的问题就是顶尖级学校好多都不接受标准申请，而国人恰恰对顶尖级学校的最有热情。还有个显示诚意的问题，因为标准申请太容易了，填好一份以后，只要不怕交申请费和花时间面试，你可以不费吹灰之力地申请哪怕几十所学校。有人会觉得学校更喜欢历尽“千辛万苦”完成该校特定申请的学生，不过我接触过的几个学校的招生办都断然否认这种情况，说他们对所有申请人无论什么表格都会一视同仁。我个人意见是，标准申请是大趋势，美国学生都比较懒懒，能省事儿就省事儿，所以使用的人会越来越多。目前大多数私立初中的升学顾问都在鼓励他们的学生使用标准申请。等到有一天绝大多数学生都是用标准申请，学校即使有”偏见“也无可奈何了。

　　好处：标准申请的好处不言而喻，大大简化了申请工作量和时间，美国本土学生申请高中都是自己准备即使找顾问也是策略上的帮助，不是操作上的帮助。填表写陈述都是学生自己的工作，所以标准申请在美国越来越受到欢迎，不光是高中申请，大学申请也是。
