　　AMC has reportedly picked up The Night Manager, a miniseries starring Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie.

　　美国AMC电视台宣布将会预订《夜班经理》，这是一部由Tom Hiddleston和Hugh Laurie主演的美剧。

　　AMC has given the adaptation of John le Carré’s 1993 novel of the same name a straight-to-series order. The network will co-produce along with BBC One and Ink Factory, according to THR, whose sources say that AMC is “looking at the project as a six- or eight-part miniseries.” Hiddleston is set to play former British soldier Jonathan Pine, now a hotel night auditor, who is pitted against Laurie’s Richard Onslow Roper, a black market dealer.

　　The show will mark Laurie’s return to TV following his run on House. Though Hiddleston is probably best known for playing Marvel’s villainous Loki.
