Professor Peng Wang will move to Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in September 2019. The research interest of Professor Wang can be found at ( http://enl.kaust.edu.sa ).
研究方向：Tunable properties of nanomaterials inspire innovation and thus provide unprecedented opportunities for solving grand environmental challenges of our times, such as environmental pollution, water scarcity, energy shortage, in a sustainable way. Led by Professor Peng Wang, KAUST Environmental Nanotechnology Laboratory (ENL), conducts application-oriented research and has a clear research focus on nano-enabled sustainable energy driven clean water production and wastewater treatment.
Specific Research Interests:
1.Solar-driven photothermal processes for clean water production
2.Solar crystallization based brine treatment and desalination with zero liquid discharge
3.Atmospheric water harvesting for potable water production
4.Special wettability materials for industrial oily wastewater treatment

背景偏好：The applicants should possess suitable background in environmental science and engineering, chemistry, material, polymer, chemical engineering, etc. or be interested in getting trained in these fields.
The requirements for those who do not have a degree for which English was the language of instruction at a recognised university are:
1.An overall score of at least 6.5 (with score for the writing component at 6.0 or above) in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); OR
2.A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 80 or above for the Internet-based test (with a writing score of 23 or above) or 550 or above for the paper-based test (with a score of 4 or above in the Test of Written English)*.
